Why does my screen freeze and tell me a script has stopped?

    My page keeps freezing and I get a message that a “script has stopped running or is busy”, and gives me options to “stop the script” or “continue”. I’ve clicked both, but it doesn’t help, it just pops up again a few minutes later. The “script” (whatever that is) shows, and it starts with wp, which I’m assuming means WordPress- which tells me it’s not my computer, it’s you. Of course I’m willing to be wrong. Any idea what’s going on? It’s tremendously annoying.

    Hi there – This is a browser warning that happens when your browser gets hung up on some Javascript. Firefox has more information about it here:
    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/warning-unresponsive-script

    If the suggestions on that page don’t help with this, you might try using Chrome and see if that works better for you.
