Why does my site have a redirect error?

My site, homeschoolersanonymous.wordpress.com, is having issues. The home page is displaying a redirect loop error and other links are displaying a 404 not found error. I can still log in to the back end of the site without an issue. I’ve reset my browser and cleared cookies and tried other browsers, it’s not a browser issue. All the stuff I’m finding is for wordpress.org and doesn’t apply to wordpress.com. Any ideas of how to fix this?

You have domain mapping here – but your name servers seem to point to A Small Orange –

did you have a site at ASO? Or did you want to show the content at homeschoolersanonymous.wordpress.com, – and visitors see homeschoolersanonymous.org. when they visit your site??

did you intend to use hosting at ASO?

I have also flagged this for staff sttention

We do have hosting with ASO but it’s not currently hosting the site that homeschoolersanonymous.org is supposed to point to.

The odd thing is it also happens if you just type in the URL homeschoolersanonymous.wordpress.com. It’s not only an issue with the URL homeschoolersanonymous.org.

  • Hi there,

When I type homeschoolersanonymous.wordpress.com into my browser, it correctly loads the site, but at the domain, homeschoolersanonymous.org. The domain’s name servers are also pointed back to WordPress.com now, so that was most likely the cause.

Let me know if you need more help with this.
