Why does my site not look right?

My site looks strange, I am sure it was OK last time I visited. If I view individual posts they are OK.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is most often caused by an open HTML tag in one of your posts.

Go to settings > writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click “save changes.”

Now, starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, make one minor change such as adding and then deleting a space, and then click “update post.” Check your blog and if it is back to normal, you are golden. If not, open the next post and do the same thing till it goes back to normal.

    It didn’t work.

I have removed what I thought was the ‘rogue’ post entirely as it is one I’m not too fussed about including and all seems well.

Your main page looks ok now. Try clearing your browser’s cache to make sure you’re not looking at a cached version of your page.

Ah sorry, you said you removed the problem post.

For the record, the post you removed had an extra closing div tag, because the code of a captioned image was messed up, so thesacredpath’s suggestion should have worked.

    I clicked and saved this.

“WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”

Then I added and removed a space as suggested where did I go wrong?

Oh and will the “correctin invalidly nested XHTML” work every time now?

Have to say I have had no problems in the past.
