Why does my site not show up in relevant Reader searches?

    If I type in the words ‘virtue’ and ‘signalling’ I would expect my own site to show both in ‘sites’ and in ‘posts’ because a) my site is the only active WordPress site that contains both those words and b) my site has those words in its homepage. But my site does not appear even though lots of other sites with names nothing like DO appear.
    So I am puzzled? And how is anyone ever going to find my site when it doesn’t show up even for SEARCHES DIRECTLY RELATED TO IT. Please help.
