Why does my site show ads when I purchased a premium theme? is it activated?

  I purchased a premium theme, for $79.00, which includes no ads, but my blog is still showing ads. How can I fix this?

  Every upgrade is specific. You purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade to eliminate all ads placed by WordPress.com http://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/

  Note this too please:

  May I remove credit links such as ‘Blog at WordPress.com’, theme, font, or toolbar links?

  All WordPress.com bloggers are required to maintain the credit links, even our VIP bloggers. Please do not hide or alter text or links for the footer credits or the toolbar. Modifying the style of the footer text (i.e. colors and font size) is fine as long as it’s still readable.

  Thank you for responding.
  When I go to upgrade to a no ads site, the system asks me to purchase the premium version of my theme, for $79.00 — but I have already purchased it…! So, I have purchased a premium theme, but I am still showing ads on my blog. I do mind the ads; I have no problem with showing “blog at wordpress.com.”
  Please advice.

  Purchasing a premium theme has nothing whatsoever to do with ads appearing on your blog. WordPress.com has been running ads on all blogs since 2006 except those with No-Ads upgrades. Every upgrade is specific. You purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade to eliminate all ads placed by WordPress.com http://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads

  Thank you again for the quick reply. What was confusing me is that when I’d go to purchase “no ads,” the premium theme purchase option was the only thing that appeared on the shopping cart. So i deleted the premium purchase charge from the cart and then added “no adds.” And it worked. Thank you for your help.
