Why does my username appear as my previous name?

  Dashboard says different name than the one I am currently using. I changed everything to hazelcraft and it still shows me alottadesign in the dashboard. I cannot get rid of it. My username and display name are both hazelcraft. even the admin link is hazelcraft.

  I have cleared the cache and I am using chrome. I looked at it from another browser and it still shows alottadesign.

  And no offense, but I really wish the help system wasn’t just the community that I have to ask for support…

  Sorry, the name alottadesign shows on my profile as well as my dashboard.

  I am completely new to this so I am really confused here. I really want to keep the name hazelcraft so I can’t just trash it and start over.

  Otherwise I would.

  Are you talking about what it says in the upper left hand corner of the screen when viewing your dashboard? If so, you need to change your site title.

  You want to click on “Settings” and then on “General”. The first option on the page that comes up will be “site title”. Change that and you will see a different name in the upper left hand corner.
