Why does my white header image turn grey after uploading?
-
My custom header image turns grey after uploading it. It seems as though there is a grey overlay of some sort. I have been able to upload this into different themes and make some changes to the CSS coding to make that overlay go away but I cannot find what is causing it in this theme. I look for the overlay via the inspect element tool from Google Chrome.
Help is greatly appreciated.

Hello there! I am not seeing the gray overlay on Chrome for Mac:
https://cloudup.com/cxVHUxvjHeUHave you fixed the issue yourself, or are you continuing to see the issue on your computer? Please let me know and I can delve deeper into the problem. Thanks!

Hi thatrobyn! Yes I have fixed it. I apologize it wasn’t even a coding problem. For some reason when the file was saved as a .gif it uploaded with a greyish background color even though in Illustrator it was #FFF but when saved as a .jpeg as the maximum quality it showed up white. Good to know I was given the tip by druesome*.
Thank you for your help!
