why does my wordpress blog show text at the top of my blog when i share it on another site?

  hi, my blog does not show text at the top of the blog that is not put there when i write the blog. However, when i open the blog from the site i share it on (facebook), i see something that seems to be like some embedded quote when i open it there. it is not there when i got to edit the blog.

  Can you give me the exact URL that you’re sharing on Facebook? And also more detail on the text you’re seeing that you don’t recognize?

  When I check your homepage URL in Facebook’s debugger, it shows the 1 Cor 13 quote you have set as your site’s tagline, which is what I’d expect when sharing the homepage.

  If you’re sharing the URL for another page or a specific post, it should be using a short excerpt from the content for the Facebook preview.
