Why does my WP site run slow sometimes?

    I use WP for a number of different sites.
    But I have one site in particular that runs VERY slow sometimes. There does not seem to be a pattern of when it is slow. Sometimes it’s fine, sometimes its slow (so slow that sometimes it just won’t load at all).

    I’m at a loss right now.

    I’ve tried changing the theme, disabling plugins, installing various cache plugins, etc.
    The site doesn’t have too much content. I have another site with far more content that never runs slow.
    Both sites are being hosted on a shared server (I know this isn’t the best option). But since they are both in the same environment and one site is fine, this just confuses me more.

    Is there anyone who can examine the site and try to pinpoint what might be causing the slowness? Or is there anyway I can find more info? (I tired yslow, but that didn’t help all that much, either.)

    Seems you are self-hosting your blog and if that is the case, you posted in the wrong page. Go here – http://wordpress.org.

    Regardless, your host seems to be having problems. Ask them what the load is and if it is too high, you might think about wanting to move your sites.
