Why does Norton antivirus assume a third person is attempting to replace me?
-
My Norton antivirus blocks the domain because, I presume, it detects a third party attempting to impersonate the original.
Blog url: http://flintpen.wordpress.com/ -
It’s safe to add an exception for that.
What’s happening is you have a domain mapped to your WordPress.com blog, and we use an SSL certificate to encrypt your connection when accession your Dashboard. SSL certificates need to be signed to the domain that’s using them, but we can’t provide a certificate for every mapped domain, so the certificate is signed to WordPress.com.
Norton is just letting you know that WordPress.com seems to be intercepting your connection to flintpen.com, which of course is perfectly fine.
