Why does not the featured image show in my subscribers mail?

  When a new post is published, a mail is sent to the people who follow ones blog. The sad thing is though that with the Handmade theme, the featured image is not included!? The featured image is of course the most important image in a post! I tried to get help with this from the Premium Support/Handmade but her answer did not help me one bit.

  This is not a function of the theme, but of WordPress. The theme only controls the visual display of your content in the browser – it does not add or control any backend function such as RSS or emails.

  I’ve reported the issue regarding featured images in New Post emails to our developers. While I can’t give a time frame, we’ll be sure to reply back when we have an update.

  Our developers are aware of this as it’s on their enhancement list. I’ll definitely inform you once they have fixed it.
