Why does paragraph formatting disappear between VIEW POST and return to EDIT.

    I lose paragraph formatting when moving from VIEW page back to EDIT, This isn’t even consistent, but frequent. I set up copy in VISUAL, Preview, Publish and then in VIew Page it’s one solid block of type. This started happening last month.

    Hi there!

    First, I noticed you have submitted multiple requests for support. To keep our conversation organized, I’m going to respond to your questions here and close the other requests. Please keep all further correspondence in this thread.

    I’ve been able to recreate the experience you mention. This also happens in the self-hosted WordPress.org software. When you use the back arrow to navigate back to the Edit Post screen, the text appears as one block of text. However, this is not the saved format. If you refresh the page, the paragraph spacing returns.

    The “Back” button doesn’t seem to be the best way to navigate back to the “Edit Post” screen. Instead of using the “Back” button, can you try using the “Edit” button below the post title as shown here?

    Also, regarding Preview, when you preview a post, the preview should be opening up in a new window. This should leave the “Edit Post” page open in a separate tab. So, there would be no need to use the “Back” arrow.

    Can you give that flow a try and let me know if it works for you?
