Why does premium only apply to one blog?

I upgraded to premium but i didn’t realize that it only applied to one blog. I have two that I use for different purposes. If I had known, I would have applied it to the guitarsophist blog, not writingwebworld, but as it is, I think it is too much money for just one blog. I don’t want the upgrade.

    Hi there,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re not satisfied with the WordPress.com Premium! I’ve verified that it’s cancelled and more importantly has been refunded back to you. Depending on your bank you should be seeing those funds appearing back in to your account in the next few days.

Hope you have a good weekend!

Ok, I cancelled it. Sorry for the confusion. I thought upgrades applied to my whole account not just one blog. Now I know better. I should look into moving the blogs elsewhere.

I still think this is the wrong way to organize things. I understand that the basic blog is a free service. It makes sense to pay something for extra storage, domain registration, and customization, but I think it should be by WordPress account and not by blog. Your business model is to nickel and dime everyone until they figure out that it is cheaper to just pay for hosting somewhere else and leave you behind. Your model would make sense if these blogs made money, but mine won’t, and most won’t. You make it look like it is all one by listing “your blogs” and encouraging more blog creation, but then you apply expensive upgrades to one at a time. It is extremely frustrating. Blah.
