Why does "read more" redirect to a blank page? Eventbrite multi event wordpress theme
-
The “Read More” link at the bottom of each “event” in the events list redirects to a blank page.
“Read More” doesn’t work.
WordPress and Eventbrite seem to be connected fine but something’s wrong…

Hi guys,
Please, if you have any troubleshooting we can even do, let me know.
Thanks!

Hi there,
I’m so sorry about this! I’m able to see the error you are talking about. For some reason I can’t get this to replicate on my test blog. Have you tried remove the Eventbrite connection and reconnecting?

Alright. Thank you for checking. I have reported this to our developers for review. I’m sorry about the inconvenience. Once we have an update we will contact you as soon as possible.

Anything? Seems like it must be something small since it just started happening. Some setting or something…

Hi again. Sorry. I know it’s Monday but since this is a basic functionality thing, we really need it working again.
Thanks,

Hi Joe,
I’m sorry, but I haven’t heard back from our theme developers yet. I’ll let you know once I hear back.

Hi Joe and Grace,
This confused me for a bit too, but it turns out the event information was loaded properly on the page, it was just hidden with some custom CSS. I’ve commented out the
.well {display: none;}code in your Custom CSS, and everything looks good again. Not sure why that CSS would be in there in the first place, so let us know if anything else still looks off.

Thanks Kirk.
Well, it kind of works now but the way it used to work is when they would click the “READ MORE” from this page
they would actually see the rest of the show description on this page
http://dogstorytheater.com/home/15067822262/
but instead it has another clickable thing for “more information”.

Hi Joe,
I just checked your site, and when I click the “Read more” link on the front page I am taken to a full description of the show:
http://dogstorytheater.com/home/15128734452/
Are you seeing something different on your end?
-
Hi. Sorry. I’m getting frustrated since this is a new problem and it’s been a couple weeks now.
Your example above –
http://dogstorytheater.com/home/15128734452/
that’s not a full description of the show.
That’s another page with another “read more” only called “more information” this time.
And when they click on “more information” on that page it takes them to Eventbrite.
It used to be that when they clicked “read more” for one of the events listed on this page-
It would take them to the expanded full description, still on our website.
Since it was something weird/wrong with the CSS before(see above), I’m guessing perhaps it is again.
Thank you,
Joe -
Hi Joe,
I’m sorry for the frustration, but I’m having a little trouble understanding what’s missing on that page. I see the event title and date, the ticket information, and a full description of the event at the bottom of the page. That’s how this theme is meant to work, as described on the Eventbrite Multi theme page or seen on the Eventbrite Multi demo site.
Can you give me more details about what’s missing from that event page?
