Why does 'read more' redirect to a blank page? Eventbrite multi event wordpress theme
-
Hi there I have the exact problem as per the support title of Why does ‘read more’ redirect to a blank page? Eventbrite multi event wordpress theme
I can see this is now closed but I have just built our site today and the problem exists, which you can view at http://nonevents.co.nz/all-nonevents/ and then click the read more link which is supposed to show an expanded view of the event. This worked for about 5 minutes during setup but not at the start of the setup and now not at all?
Can you please advise? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m not having any trouble seeing that page when I click “read more”

Are you still having this issue?

It’s all fine now, is it just really slow to properly load onto WordPress. We didn’t do anything our end.
Thanks for looking :) -
Hi again it seems the problem is overall updating, I’ve just created a new event that has a different location map but when viewed in wordpress the new event shows the same map as the first event created. This is not acceptable for us, can you please advise how to force a refresh as I have tried disconnect / reconnect between wordpress and eventbrite without success.

The system does cache Eventbrite information in order to maximize performance. But it should only take 10 minutes or so before the cache is refreshed.
-
Thanks, but its now been over 12 hours and the maps still havent updated. Can you please advise how to fix this issue?
-
Just to be clear, which map re you referring to? The sidebar map on the right, correct?
And the issue is that the Heaphy Track Run post shows the correct map location, but that Rotorua Rainbow Kiltathon (for example) does not and instead shows the same location as the Heaphy Track Run.
Have I got that correct?

And you are sure that different locations have been set for each as instructed here:
http://help.eventbrite.com/customer/portal/articles/430478-how-to-create-an-event
Also, if the locations are set correctly, you might try using the “trash location” link and resetting them just to see if that helps.

Yes they all have different locations, which you could easily verify yourself by choosing the register option!
Resetting them does not help. Please advise a solution. -

Hi Val,
I’m sorry for the delay on your support request. I needed to make sure that the fix wouldn’t break things for other users of the same theme. I’ve deployed a fix for your issue that should take effect immediately.
Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you again for your patience.
