why does tag not update

  I just tried to change the name of a tag and my attempt failed accompanied by the message ‘Tag not updated’. Why?

  Some modifications (e.g. change case of a letter) won’t be updated at the post or page editor. You should be able to make such edits at the post tags page. Yours is https://wallofcontroversy1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=post_tag.
