Why does the code of an Instagram widget (when inserted in a page) not show?

I am trying to create a page to showcase the latest posts on a certain hashtag on Instagram and so I used snapwidget to create a widget and embed it on that page. Everytime I paste the code and update the page, nothing shows! I have already tried to switch to the TEXT editor but it still doesn’t work. Why is that?
