Why does the custom design upgrade I purchased not work?

  I have purchased a custom design upgrade for £20 which doesn’t seem to work for Plane theme on surfmama.me, can you explain why not? This site is free and using a free theme, is this the problem?If so why is it listed as an upgrade?

  Hello there!

  On your site, surfmama.me, you have the Premium upgrade which includes the Custom Design feature:

  Because of this, you cannot re-purchase the same feature since you already own it. It’s slated to expire on March 26, 2015. If you allow Premium to lapse at that time, you are welcome to add Custom Design on individually.

  Your recent purchase of Custom Design was for your site: wilma.me — you then attempted to transfer it to your site, surfmama.me. If you are not planning on using it for wilma.me, would you like me to cancel/refund your purchase?
