Why does the featured image dominate the (PC) post page?

The desktop preview of my post is showing an enlarged version of the “featured image” (100px square, 96dpi) at the top of the page. It dominates the whole first screen.

Hi there. You can edit the single post template and adjust the size of the image. Currently it is set to be wider than the content below it.
Go to Appearance > Editor, click to edit the
Singletemplate, then click on the image, and then click on the alignment tab and select “None” and the image will then be the same width as the content below the featured image.Screenshot: https://d.pr/i/N6iTay
