Why does the Gravatar widget on my blog just show a weird green square?

  I have exactly the same problem as this person:

  I tried everything suggested, and also tried clearing cache and waiting 24 hours. Didn’t help. I’ve contacted Gravatar support (twice) and they haven’t got back to me. If I go to view my Gravatar profile, the default image for me is the Gravatar logo. Help!!!

  Ok, I’ve fixed the first part of this problem – I have got rid of the green square from my gravatar on wordpress and my blog. Apparently, I had set the gravatar image for sites rated PG or higher, but not for G (all ages). But I still can’t fix the Gravatar logo in my profile. Any ideas gratefully received.

  Ok, ignore the second part of the last post. Gravatar logo now gone. Magic! I’ll stop talking to myself now.
