Why does the "home" tab take me to an older blog address?

  I have change the url or my wordpress.com blog. I did not purchase a domain but just changed the blog url from

  “abcd”.wordpress.com

  to

  “1234”.wordpress.com

  The problem I am having is that whenever I click “home” on the new address, it is redirecting me to the old one.

  How can I fix this please?
