Why does the import from posterous doesn't work?

  I tried to import my old posterous blog into wordpress. On wordpress it says you should contact the support if it isn’t done within 24 hours. So I am stuck now. Any suggestions what to do?

  Thanks for trying to help. I’m sorry if you’re trying to keep track of multiple threads, but it seems that a lot of people are having trouble with the Posterous import function, and so far as I can see, they’re all following the instructions you refer to.

  The commonality is that we’re all getting hung up at the same point: we generate the xml file using the posterous backup function, but then wordpress refuses to import it. You’ll find a screenshot here.
