Why does the JPEG image in my library display only as a thumbnail?

  I want the JPEG file, which contains text, to display onscreen as a full-page image the way the .pdf files do. The thumbnail is too small to read, and too blurry to read if enlarged.

  It sounds like the resolution of your jpeg file isn’t high enough to be displayed at the size you’d like, but I can’t be sure without seeing the file. Can you share a link to the image in question?

  ok, I was wrong about the resolution ;) Sorry about that.

  Try this instead. Click “add media” and choose the photo like you usually do, but before you click “insert into post” scroll the menu on the right down to the bottom until you see “attachment display settings.” Under “size” choose “Full Size” and then insert the photo into the post.

  That should work better.
