Why does the Like button make non-wordpress visitors jump through hoops?

  Hello!

  We require anyone that wants to like a WordPress.com post to have an account on WordPress.com. You can’t click a Facebook like button unless you have a Facebook account and the same goes for likes on WordPress.com.
