why does the site keep asking me to confirm my email?

hello, can you tell me why this site keeps asking me to reconfirm my email & I am not getting this confirmation on email? is this supposed to keep happening or should I be closing this note off with the ‘x’ and ignore?

There is a single email address that can be used on only one wordpress.COM username account and not on any others, regardless of how many blogs are registered under that username account.
The wordpress.COM blog’s owner can change the relevant email address on their accounts page at https://wordpress.com/me/account at any time.
