Why does the video I uploaded not play or embed into my blog post?

I’ve uploaded many videos into my blog posts in the past, with no problems. This time I’m trying to upload 2 videos and insert them into my blog post so that they can be played on the page, but it’s not working at all. It just pastes a hyper link with the name of the files I uploaded and when i click on the link it goes to a page but nothing happens.
My videos are in .MOV format, like they always are, so I have no idea why this is not working this time. Please help!!

Are you referring to your most recent blog post “Update from Maui” seen here?

If so, I’m only seeing one video in that post, and that particular video appears to be working correctly. If you’re having trouble, can you point me to the post in question that you’re having difficulty with?

Hi, Yes I’m referring to the most recent post and yes the video I posted there works but I tried uploading other videos that didn’t work. The problem wasn’t in the post part of it, it was in the uploading into my media gallery and then inserting into the post. I could upload the video fine but then it wouldn’t show a preview and when I’d try to insert it into the post, it would just show up as a hyperlink to the name of the video file instead of embedding into the post as it usually did. When I’d click on the link, a new page would open up but nothing would happen.

Now, I understand a bit better! Can you try uploading another video again so I can see what’s happening when the video is uploaded to your Media Library?
