Why does WordPress embed half my post in a tweet? Can it be disabled?

  When I link to one of my WP posts in my Twitter TL, half the post and pic get automatically embedded in the tweet. Like here: https://twitter.com/_traxor_/status/316185241045843969

  I don’t want that. How can I disable that embedding? I’m not even using Publicize, just manually adding the post’s URL to my TL, and still it happens.

  BTW, before you start giving me hell about that swastika on my page, that’s a post about a neonazi who wanted me to tattoo him. I told him to f off, obviously.
