Why does WordPress keep shortening my blog buttons?

  Hi. I am trying to add a “grab my button” widget to my sidebar. I have the button all ready but whenever I tried to add the textbox part, WordPress automatically shortened it, getting rid of the textarea part. I tried adding the textbox in a seperate wdget. Didn’t work. Here is the code I have been using. Is there something flawed in the code? Does someone know of a code that works? Help please!
