Why does WordPress make it so hard to fix problems?

  My Web site’s domain expired. I didn’t know. I’ve been trying in vain to contact someone at WP who can and will help. No dice. WordPress makes it absolutely impossible to get timely help. Now I find hat they’re going to charge a huge fee in addition to the renewal fee because the grace period something or other, yet they make it impossible to access any page that permits me to pay a fee. I’m just disgusted. It’s bad enough that I spend hours searching for answers because the ‘upgrades” make things even more confusing. I sometimes have to log into my other site 3 or 4 times before I can work with it, because for some reason it’s been altered to open to the reader–which I hate–and I can’t access my working pages. Money talks, I guess, but customer service??? None.
