Why does WordPress not offer DNSSEC?

Scanning through a few QA on the blog, the general answer when it comes to DNSSEC is that WordPress is not offering DNSSEC on their name servers, and have no plans to implement DNSSEC.
WHY NOT?
DNS is at risk. You should implement DNSSEC.
Not having DNSSEC and at the same time demand domain mapping (for .no-customers at least) makes WordPress quite unattractive.
