Why does WP say I don’t have a site?

I paid for a WP site, created my first blog post, it shows up when I type the domain name, but when I go to my profile or click ‘My Site’ it says I don’t have one. My profile shows no payment history or anything even though I paid for it. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Because you are posting into the support forum for free sites hosted at WordPress.com using the account greenleaf4life which doesn’t have a site here. What is the full URL of the site you wish to reach? Perhaps it is here under a different account or perhaps it is to be found at some other company entirely.

That’s interesting. My URL I created with WP this morning is greenleaf4life.blog and the payment cleared my account for 1 year. I used the link from my email that said create a site, so I’m confused because to my knowledge I do not have another sign on or account.
If I’m posting this to the free WP, how do I access the support forum where the paid sites are?

Hello @greenleaf4life. Looks like the site was created under another account: @faelneerg.
If you log into wordpress.com with the account that owns the site, you’ll see the site’s dashboard, payment history, etc.Also, you created another thread to try to solve this same problem. I’ll mark the other as duplicate, and you can continue replying here if you have any more questions.
