why does WP stop responding when I try to attach an image to a post?

  When I try to attach an image to a post from my files (already uploaded to WP), WP stops responding.

  Hi there,

  Are you still having these issues? I ask because I see that you just posted a new article yesterday which has an image attached to it.

  If you are still having these issues, is it a specific image that will not be inserted, or is it any image at all?

  Thanks for checking in.

  It seemed to be a particular photo. Although there was nothing unusual about said image, as far as I could tell (not unusually large, etc). It uploaded just fine, but each time I tried to attach it, WP would simply stop responding. Now, of course, I can’t remember if I did anything differently on the fourth or fifth try, but, suddenly all was well.

  Not the first time this has happened. I’m baffled. Wish I could present you with more details.

  But since I finally succeeded, I guess that make the issue resolved. Yes?

  Glad to hear the issue seems to be resolved for now.

  If it happens again, please let us know and we can do some testing with that particular image.
