Why doesn't a widget show up when it selected?
-
I have selected a widget, such as “author”, and it doesn’t show up on my blog page. Why isn’t this working?
Thanks!

I am seeing the Authors widget on your blog, at the bottom of the left-hand column. It has one author, “Bellacor Blogger.” Is that what you expected?

When viewed from a reader’s perspective, not an admin’s perspective, it doesn’t appear. We would like to have the option of selecting different authors for different blogs so that it appears publicly. Please direct on how to do. Thanks!

Hi there!
I went to your site today and the Author Grid Widget is displaying as intended. Here’s what is showing from a reader’s perspective:
http://d.pr/i/z15iThe Author Grid Widget is designed to only show blog contributors from your own site. Currently there’s only one user listed under Users -> All Users on your site.
In order to add people to the Author widget, you would need to add them as contributors to your site. There’s no way to link to authors on other sites using this widget. You can add contributors by following the steps on this page:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/#invite-people-to-contribute-to-your-blogIf you want to like to other sites you think your readers might be interested in, the Links Widget might be more of what you need:
