Why doesn't goodreads "read" display show up on my front page?

Add topic to favorites
I installed the Goodreads widget, and while I see the Goodreads label, there is a big blank space where the display of read books should be. It used to be there now it’s gone. What did I do?

I see 6 book covers and assume this is now resolved.

I’m having similar problems. My Goodreads widget was showing up blank, even though everything in the widget is correct. I even changed themes, and my widget worked for maybe an hour, and now it is just showing up blank again.

Can you please try clearing out your browser cache?

Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?

I don’t think it is a browser issue because there are quite a few folks having problems with the Goodreads widget:

Right now the books are appearing, but also the reviews…Is there a way the reviews won’t appear in the Goodreads widget???

My widget is now showing “Currently-reading” under “Currently+reading” in a widget box I already called “Currently reading”!

I can reproduce the issue and have reported it to our developers to fix. I’ll report back once I know more.

The title has been removed from the widget, you can now set your own title inside the widget settings.

Reviews are part of the widget. We’re basically limited by what Goodreads lets us display. We’ve registered your suggestion and will keep it in mind for future features and updates of the Goodreads widget. Like making the widget more configurable.
