Why doesn't my audio file (mp3) play?

  Yesterday I purchased a space upgrade so I could attach self-generated audio links to my blog.
  I did so last night, and it works fine on my laptop. But on my desktop PC all I get is a broken-Quicktime-plug-in icon. I’ve since uninstalled Quicktime, but the file still won’t play on my PC. Help?
