why doesn’t my blog fill the screen?
-
hi. anybody know why my blog doesn’t fill the screen? (hope that makes sense.)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We need a link to your blog, starting with http:// to answer technical questions.

I saw the link on the screen when I was posting the question, don’t know why it didn’t show up. Here it is:

Does it have something to do with theme I chose?
Thank you.

I’ve just tried previewing the Ambiru theme with my own blog, and I get a similarly narrow column. I think it just happens to be a fixed-width column which is over- narrow. The width might be adjustable with custom CSS, but that involves paying for an upgrade. I think the narrow column is just built in to that theme.

The preview pictures are not very accurate. Some are shown as close-up views, and others show an image of what you will actually see if you were to activate the theme. There was no specific standard for making the previews of the themes we can use here.
So when you preview some themes, they don’t look at all like the “preview picture.”
Here is some info about how wide the various theme post areas can be (based on how wide images can be):
