Why doesn't my blog publish immediately?
-
When I go to posts under “My Site” and dashboard, my latest post says scheduled instead of published. I had put my settings to “Publish immediately,” but it says scheduled instead for 2015/4/4 at 9:22:45 pm. Why is that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes it said “You just got published. Yay!” and the blue button did say publish. My post got published, but it wasn’t until until 9:22:45 pm on 2015/4/4. Is this normal I thought when you put it on the publish immediately setting that it publishes the post right away.
Thanks for your help.

Yes, if you got that notice after clicking Publish, it should have published immediately.
Normally the only way to make it publish at a future time is adjust the time yourself, and that’s how it gets put in the Scheduled listing. But if you had done that, the button would’ve appeared as “Schedule” instead of “Publish” and the notice would’ve looked like this:
So your instance of this particularly odd, since everything seemed normal to publish immediately.
I’m also seeing you have several drafts of the same post title in your trash.
Did you do a lot of switching between copies of this post? Is it possible one post got published immediately and trash, while another was scheduled?

No the very first time that I published the post it said scheduled. So i think I could of may be clicked on the the scheduled post button by mistake. i tried to publish it another two times, and then when I looked into my Dashboard/post section I saw that none of the posts were published immediately. So that’s when I deleted them and I realized in the draft section that it said “scheduled post” before I published the first post. That’s when I changed it from “Scheduled post to publish post immediately.” So that was my mistake.
Thanks for your help.
