why doesn’t my dashboard have the plugin tab?

    I was looking to add plugins but my blog doesn’t have the tab the plugin tab that is referred to in the material on plugins.

    is there any reason why I would not have the tab and how would I go about having it show up?

    Becuase we don’t have the ability to add in plugins here at wordpress.com Please review the stickies for more information about the version of wordpress that is run here at wp.com.

    Usually when you’re looking at wordpress docs, when someone mentions ‘wordpress’ they’re discussing the regular version of wordpress from http;//wordpress.org that is hosted elsewhere. If someone is discussing wordpress.com, they specifically state wordpress.com becuase it is a different platform.
