Why doesn't my Goran theme look like the template?

  Hello,

  I don’t know how to make my website https://sitiwebperhotel.wordpress.com/ look like the Demo of the “Goran” theme. Here are some of my questions:

  1 – How do I get rid of the headline in the Home page (and in all of the others)? In the demo it’s not present…

  2 – How do I add the three colums with image, text and botton under the cover photo I see in the demo?

  3 – How do I add the other row of a different color with the social media icons that I see in the demo?

  At last, can I upload free wordpress templates I download from http://www.wordpress-template.it/ to my wordpress.com domain?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  1 – Decide which of your pages you want as a front page and set its page template to Front Page Template.

  Check the Custom Page Templates section of Goran theme’s support page to learn more about Front Page Template: https://wordpress.com/themes/goran/

  2 – Once you do step 1, from the wp-admin, click on Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > select pages for Front Page: Featured Page One, Front Page: Featured Page Two and Front Page: Featured Page Three.

  The Read More button will appear automatically but the photo will appear if the pages you selected for Front Page: Featured Page One, Two and Three have featured images set. Here is the support doc on featured images: https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/

  3 – The social media icons in the demo is a social links menu added to the Footer Three widget area.

  3.a – Create social links menu: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/social-links-menu/

  3.b – Go to Appearance > Widgets screen.

  3.c – Click on Custom Menu widget and click on Footer Three.

  3.d – In the Footer Three panel, add a Title. In the Select Menu drop down, select the social menu created in step 3.a. Click Save.

  On WordPress.com we can only activate the themes available at https://theme.wordpress.com/ . New templates cannot be uploaded.
