Why doesn't my most recent post appear in Reader under the appropriate tags ?

  When checking selected tags for a recent post the post does not appear. The previous day’s post using the same tags appears in Reader . I can even find the post using Google, but as far as the Reader is concerned, I did not post anything on February 22, 2015. Is this a hiccup or is there something wrong with the post that is causing the Reader to reject it ? Post is called – “Snow White – The Other Side” .

  You have 18 tags on that, and as far as search engines and WP.com are concerned, that’s tag spamming. Reduce it to no more than 15 and that should be fixed.

  Thanks very much. I had it had suspected it had something to do with formatting or the insertion of my video. I do not normally use this many tags, but the post was a complex piece and I was trying to cover both form & content. Actually, I think that is a limitation with the tags. Some tags such as poetry, tanka , haiku & haibun describe specific forms, but not content. Other tags, such as fairy tale, folklore,or jazz deal with content. There is no way to be specific and narrow down a complex piece.

  Because I incorporated a video piece I specifically created, I checked out another blogger who regularly creates such pieces to see what tags he used, then used his tags as a template. He is obviously in the same situation.
