Why doesn't my new blog post show up on my blog page?

  I’ve had a wordpress account since 2013. I just tried to publish a new blog post, and it says it is published. However, when I go to my blog page: chestnuttruelovewaits.com, the newest blog post is one I wrote on March 23, 2014. Can you please help me get my new blog post published?

  Hi there,

  I am able to see your most recent post as seen here:

  https://joannachestnut.wordpress.com/

  It looks like you published two posts with the same title. I see that you do have one draft post back in March, but it was not published. Please go to Posts > All Posts in the WP-Admin Dashboard and publish it by editing the post. Go to the Publish module on the right hand side and click publish.

  Hi Grace, Thank you for responding to my question. However, it did not solve my problem. I have a blog through WordPress at http://www.chestnuttruelovewaits.com That is the site where I have all of my 15 blogs since I published my book in the spring of 2013. I wanted to add my new blog to this site, but instead my latest blog went to https://(email visible only to moderators and staff) and it is there all alone. Why do I have two blog sites when I only want one, and why doesn’t my most recent blog go to my original blog site at http://www.chestnuttruelovewaits.com Thank you for your help with this. Joanna.

  Hi Joanna,

  It looks like you were in the wrong WP Admin Dashboard and account. Please log out of this account, and log into the one with the site: chestnuttruelovewaits.com. Copy and paste the post into that site and you should be set.

  As for permanently deleting this site, follow the guide below:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-site/

  Please read the warnings and advice before deleting a site, as we can’t revert a site deletion for any reason and the site address cannot be reused. Please delete it after you have copied/pasted your post into the correct site.

  If you want to hide your site instead, you can use the following guide to make your site private so only you and people that you have invited can view the site:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  Hi again Grace, I have now permanently deleted my blog site called joanna.chestnut.wordpress.com However, now when I try to access my site at my actual blog: chestnuttruelovewaits.com, it says I have no page. Did I do something wrong? Can you help me? Thanx, Jo.

  Hi joannachestnut, Your site http://chestnuttruelovewaits.com/ still exists, but it’s not connected to the WordPress.com account you are currently logged into. If you log out of this account, and log into the account you created the site from, you’ll be all set.

  Dear Liz the Fair (I really like your name BTW)
  I have tried logging out and logging back in to my account, but it just doesn’t work. I can’t get to the admin. section. I want to edit my blog, but I don’t know how to do it. Please help me.

  I should have been a little more clear. You need to log out of this account, and into your other account. The site in question is not connected to the username you are currently writing from.
