Why doesn't my theme appear even though its active?

    Hi, i have uploaded my theme (TREND). It appears in the Dashboard under themes and i have it as my active theme however when i make any changes in the appearance editor it doesn’t show. also my theme doesn’t show the way i viewed it it appears as a blank page with the name trend. i don’t know how to move further i’ve spent a month almost trying to figure this out.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,
    Are you referring to https://rabeeyaaj.wordpress.com/, which has the Twenty Twelve theme activated, or another site? If you’re referring to another site, please provide the address (URL). The Trend theme is not available for use on a WordPress.com site. Only themes among those in the WordPress.com Theme Showcase may be activated on a WordPress.com site.

    You can’t upload themes to a WordPress.com site. Are you referring to a self-hosted WordPress.org site?

    It appears in the Dashboard under themes and i have it as my active theme however when i make any changes in the appearance editor it doesn’t show.

    There is no Appearance Editor in a WordPress.com site.

    It sounds like you may have setup two completely separate WordPress installs.

    Read this first http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ and then reply back here if you have questions about which type of setup is the best for your case and let us know some more detail about your goals for your blog.
