Why doesn't my twitter widget work?

  I tried to install a twitter timeline sidebar widget following the directions given, but it didn’t work. I have a wordpress.com site and I am using the chateau theme.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there! Your Twitter widget does seem to be installed properly. The trouble is that you’ve chosen for your site to be full-page, no columns. If you want any widgets to be displayed, you’ll have to add a sidebar.

  You can do this by clicking Appearance → Theme Options and adjusting the layout.
