Why doesnt new blog post appear on front page and slider in oxygen theme?

  Hi,

  I’ve just written and published a new post, but its not appearing on my blog front page or as a sticky post. I’m aware that you can have no more than 6 sticky posts in the slider, so I took one post off. This post has successfully been placed under my recent posts, but my new post hasn’t appeared.
