Why doesn't one of my pages show up?

  I made a page for somewhere to allow posts to go instead of my about page, but when I go back to my website, it doesn’t show up as a link to a page on the bottom of my home screen, why?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi, thanks for using the forums.

  If I understand your problem correctly, you created a new page but it isn’t showing up in the navigation menu…

  You may need to manually add it.

  From inside your admin dashboard follow these steps:

  • Sidebar go to: Appearance => Menus
  • You should see to sections, Pages on the left and Menu Structure on the right.
  • From “Pages” option check the box next to the page you want to add
  • Then click the button “Add to Menu”
  • You can drag and drop the menu items on the right if you wish to change the menu order.
  • Then click “Save Menu”

  Two more things..
  One, I’m customizing my website and once I get what I want, I press save at the bottom it doesn’t actually save it and when I close the customizer it goes back to what it was previously?
  Also, I’m using the ‘Visual’ theme and at the top where it says ‘Home’, next to it is supposed to say ‘Biography’ but it also says ‘Home’ while still having the contents of the biography page? So I have two ‘Homes’ instead of ‘Home’ and ‘Biography’.

  1. have you purchased the Custom Design upgrade?

  2. You need to edit the menu. Using the previous instruction, open the menu item change the title and save the menu.

  I didn’t think I needed an upgrade to just change fonts etc? I’ve been able to customize the colours using the customizer?

  When you first started using the customizer, did you click on the “Try Now” button?

  If so, you were given a trial to use some of the customization features.

  But, yes, you will need to upgrade to the custom design to customize your theme.
