Why doesn't Reader work for me?

  When I click on Reader, I get only a blank page. I did everything the troubleshooting page suggested up to and including trying a different Internet provider. I read a blog that’s private and only accessible through WordPress.com so I need the Reader page to work. Or I need to know another way to access the blog.
