Why doesn't the “change” link beside Username in Settings→Account work?

  I would like to change my wordpress.com username. So I click myself on the top bar, which takes me to https://wordpress.com/#!/settings/ . There’s a “change” link beside my current username. But clicking it just reloads the current page. (I’ve tried both Chrome and Firefox.)

  I’m sorry but that feature appears to be broken. I searched and found your answer for you. The change username feature is not available at this time. See here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/cannot-change-username-1?replies=2#post-904311 I’ll flag this thread for Staff attention so we can get an update on when it’s expected to be functioning again.
