Why doesnt the Box.net widget hold my new embed code?

  I was updating the box.net widget with the new embed code, but it doesnt stick. When i paste the code into the widget box and click ‘save’ the code disappears and no box widget shows up on my page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What is the embed code you are trying to use? Can you paste it in a reply here so I can take a look at it? Click the “code” button, paste in the embed code, and click the code button again.

  That embed code will not work because we do not allow certain tags on WordPress.com, for security reasons, including JavaScript, Flash, iframe, form, and input tags.

  These restrictions are in place to prevent any disruptions in service due to potentially malicious code.

  Can you suggest another method similar to the way box.net could formerly be used as a widget? I’d like to post newsletters for easy download right on site.

  I’m afraid we no longer support box.com widgets:

  At the moment, there is no replacement functionality I am afraid.
