Why doesn't the Fontfolio Theme display featured image in the single post pages?

  I currently use the Spun theme, and was simulating a preview with the Fontfolio Theme. I have posts with a) featured image only, b) image only, c) both featured and simple images.
  I noticed that Fontfolio did not show my posts a) with feature image on single post page, even though the image appears perfectly in the front page thumbnail. The other elements of the post show perfectly in the single posts.
  On posts c) that have both, it shows the simple image and not the featured.

  Additional info: all images, either simple or featured are always minimum size 1024 pxls.

  I really want to migrate to Fontfolio, but having to mannually add a simple image to all posts which have only Featured Image would be a pain a dont want to go through.
  Is there a way to fix this?

  I’d say this is how the theme works, out of the box.

  A post with an image in the content but no featured image, will show the image on the front page and also on the single post page.

  A post with a featured image but no photo in the content, will show the featured image on the front page, but not on the single post page.

  A post with both a photo in the content, and a featured image, will show the featured image on the front page, but the content photo on the single image page.

  From what I’ve tested, a featured image is never shown on the single post page. See http://marksenff.wordpress.com
