Why doesn't the Insert Media button appear on my screen?

The Insert Media button does not appear on my screen, so I can’t get images onto the blog. I am a contributor, not the administrator.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Two methods of adding media to your media library:
1. At the dashboard Media menu, select “Add Media. See the support page Media > Add New.2. An “Add Media” tab appears above the two rows of icons in your post or page editor admin menu bars. See the following support pages:
Visual Editor , and’
Uploading an Inserting Media. -
I am a contributor, not the administrator.

Contributor – has no publishing or uploading capability, but can write and edit their own posts until they are published

Not to worry. It’s one I have overlooked many times and we all make mistakes and forget things. No apologies are necessary here. Overall IMO you are doing a fine job of answering questions and I’m looking forward to volunteering along side you in 2015. :) -

That’s a good idea as they can change your role to author if they choose to.
Author – can write, upload photos to, edit, and publish their own posts.
